As an internationally experienced industrial psychologist and executive coach, Henry has guided CEOs and senior executives across Asia, Africa, Europe,the US and Australia. This has made him astutely aware of and exceptionally sensitive to leadership and organisational effectiveness in a global context.

The various roles Henry has successfully assumed in his 25-year-long career–from being a combat officer in the South African Defence Force to heading up global Selection for Standard Chartered Bank–have given him the ability to relate to people at all corporate levels and from all business sectors. His psychology training ensures added depth and understanding through the use of cutting-edge individual, team and organisational assessments.In addition, as two-time former president of the Hong Kong Psychological Society and current vice-chair of the Division of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Henry’s maturity and credibility makes him perfectly suited for engaging with senior executives and boards.

Henry is passionate about helping individuals and organisations to create sustainable change and achieve their full potential.To this end, he has delivered consulting and coaching solutions to various clients in the financial, services, retail, government and manufacturing sectors. As head of organisation development for the South African Defence Force,Henry advised leaders and executives on organisational change and implemented unique interventions aimed at enabling personal and team change. During his five years with international assessment consultancy SHL, he managed the Greater China consulting business, assessing, coaching and advising senior leaders in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan,Taiwan and Australia. While heading up global selection for Standard Chartered Bank, Henry implemented a global selection strategy that has since become one of the bank’s competitive advantages.

Now based at his own consultancy firm in Hong Kong, Henry’s main areas of expertise include leadership development, psychological assessment, wellness and organisational effectiveness.He studied in South Africa and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg.
