Member of Keeper of the Quaich. Founded Fine Vintage in 1986, following 16 years in the distribution business mainly for Scotch Whisky and the brand represented was Johnnie Walker all over Asia. He has spent time in Singapore, Japan & Hong Kong working in the business and following the establishment of Fine Vintage in 1986. He took a long term view on the future of single malt whiskies, at that time only represent a tiny 1-2% of export Scottish whisky exports. Today Single Malt whiskies from Scotland represents 10% by volume & 25% by value of all export Scotch whiskies exported.
