Paul Black leads the Symantec Incident Response Services group in Asia Pacific and Japan. This team help sour clients identify, contain, and eradicate the threat of increasingly sophisticated attack actors.
Paul has over 20 years of experience in the investigation of technology related offences, starting his career in the UK Police Service where he established and led one of the first Computer Crime Units. Since this time, he has specialized in the areas of Incident Response and Computer Forensics, having led responses for some of the world’s largest organizations.
Paul has managed Forensic Technology and Incident Response teams for several large consultancy firms with a focus on delivering security and technology based investigations. He has provided testimony in a number of domestic and international jurisdictions and acted as an expert witness in a broad range of technology matters.
